This is a 3 hour seminar for 4-8 participants, facilitated by Jane Teresa Anderson, based on and extended from the methods she uses in her book, The Compass.
The games, created and developed by Jane Teresa, involve the use of cards as prompts and tools towards approaching a set of problems to be solved. The emphasis is on fun problem-solving, and the learning is subtle but deep. As well as delivering simple, new approaches towards problem solving, the way the games are facilitated widens each participant's perspective, demonstrates that there's always more than one solution to a problem, opens the way to see novel solutions, and helps each participant gain insight into what underpins their own perspective. This insight is sufficient to naturally shift a bias or weighted perspective towards a more balanced approach.
The Compass method employed in the seminars offers key questions - the right questions - to help break habitual patterns of perception, thinking and responding.
